DYNAMIC MODELLING OF TRUCK CROSSING BRIDGE

Bridge and truck dynamics are a significant source of inaccuracy in B-WIM systems. This chapter presents the parameters that affect the bridge response and the passage of a truck over a bridge is modelled numerically. Some of this formulation will be taken as reference for the development of a dynamic B-WIM algorithm .
These are one-dimensional bridge and truck models while more sophisticated threedimensional finite element.........
